Vicky Mitson has moved up to the post of Commercial Director at Science Supplements®.
Having already worked within the commercial section of Science Supplements® parent company for the past three years, Vicky now takes over the UK operation for the Northamptonshire based brand.
“I’m delighted to be heading our UK operation and with the investment we are putting into R&D, our exciting plans for the retail sector and talented staff it is a privilege to be part of such an amazing team.” Said Vicky Mitson about her new role as Commercial Director at Science Supplements®.
Vicky, a graduate from Hartpury University is also well known on the showing circuit as a past Champion at HOYS and RIHS in Working Hunter classes.
Ellie Holder graduated from Hartpury University with First Class Honours in Equine Science.
Having successfully completed an internship, Ellie has earned a full-time position at Science Supplements® Northamptonshire offices.
Ellie competes her horse Erin’s Star in Working Hunter classes and Eventing and her favourite product is FlexAbility as it helps keep 15-year-old Star sound throughout the season.
“I’m delighted to be joining the team after really enjoying my internship. Having been a Science Supplements® customer, to now be a part of such a wonderful company is a dream come true” Said Ellie about her new role at Science Supplements®.
Connie Dale is a graduate of Harper Adams University with a degree in Animal Science.
Connie joins the Science Supplements® team as a Nutrition Advisor after successfully completing her internship with flying colours.
Connie has competed at BE100 with her horse Annie and her favourite product is Complete Electrolytes as the unique Micro-Encapsulation Technology is an industry first.
Connie enthused about her new role at Science Supplements®: “We have a lot of new and exciting ventures coming up and it’s great to be joining such a forward-thinking company.”
Head of Production
Nathan Archer is a graduate of Bedfordshire University with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science where he completed his dissertation on the effect of exercise on cortisol and testosterone concentrations in saliva and blood plasma.
Nathan moves up to take the position of Head of Production after successfully managing Science Supplements® £1.1m investment in a new production and R&D facility.
“It’s been a busy year managing the new facility and the continued increase in production output. I’m looking forward to an even busier 2019 and beyond.”Said Nathan.
Regional Sales Director - South West
Lisa joins the team as regional sales director for the South West.
She has over 20 years experience within the industry having previously held positions at Baileys and Horslyx.
Lisa is also a BHSII and enjoys time with her horse Paddy who she has competed up to BE novice, teamchased to intermediate level and showjumped. Paddy who is now 17 has been with Lisa since he was 3. .
Regional Sales Director - South East
Zelina joins the Science Supplements® team as regional sales director for the South East after a successful career at Dengie.
Zelina has her BHSAI and has been riding since the age of 4 and her passion is now dressage and she competes in affiliated competitions on her Dutch warmblood mare.
Zelina enthused: “I am looking forward to joining the Science Supplements™ team at such an exciting time with all the future plans for the company.”
Regional Sales Director - South
Clare Girardot joins the Science Supplements® team as a regional sales director covering the Southern counties of the UK.
Clare is a graduate of Exeter University and joins the team after gaining experience at Zoetis and Mole Valley.
She enjoys competing her horse Biggles at BE100 and her favourite product is FlexAbility Plus+ as it has helped to keep Biggles sound throughout the season.

Regional Sales Director - East
Clare Fletcher will be the regional sales director for the East region.
Clare is already well known to the Science Supplements® team as she has been a loyal customer for many years.
Clare is currently studying on the MSc equine science programme at the University of Edinburgh. Clare competes in dressage and veteran classes with her horse Lennie who is 18.
Louisa Taylor BVMedSci BVM BVS (Hons) MRCVS
Louisa joins the Science Supplements team as our new Veterinary Surgeon.
Louisa is a graduate of The University of Nottingham and has extensive experience both in general practice and with elite competition horses.
She specialises in Nutrition and will form part of the growing team of experts with her primary focus on research and development, nutritional advice and clinical trials.
“My aim is to become a leading expert in equine nutrition and elite performance and I am delighted to be joining a company that invests so much in the research and quality of its products” said Louisa about her new appointment.
