TESTIMONIALS

My name is Jenny Kelly. I just wanted to write to you to tell you what I would have said and to let you know just how much of a difference your product has made-and how happy that’s made us! As soon as I can I'm going to try and get a video together to show you just how much your product 'ProKalm' has helped my mare! We own many horses, young and old but at the moment we have one main ridden competition mare that we compete in British Showjumping with. Niamh is a 17hh Irish sports horse mare, who we bought after a year of loaning her. She has been far from easy, but we have spent all our time re-schooling her, turning her from a cross country speed demon, into a much more rideable showjumper. We concentrate mainly on Showjumping, but we do allsorts to keep her happy! We've worked with everything to improve her - her back has been checked, her teeth done regularly and endless lessons to improve us both! We also have been delighted to have gained so much help from our current sponsor 'the horse bit trader' in the advice and help she has given us with bitting. Carol supplied us with a new bit which has helped endlessly, making her softer and much easier to ride, although that obviously can only do so much! She is a fantastic mare with a lot of scope and ability-however, the slight problem has been her fizzy, buzzy little attitude that can make her slightly hard to control and to keep concentrating!!!
I can't tell you how frustrating it is to have a horse that is perfectly capable and willing to do her job, but not being able to unlock the talent and work her to her best because of both her fizzy dizzy attitude that can really affect her concentration, and her dreaded hormones that can make her a royal pain in the backside to ride! Before we were advised to try ProKalm, we were competing up to Newcomers (the best height to at least get a little concentration from her) but having endless poles down and a few stops because she'd be looking elsewhere and her mind just wasn’t in the right place! I will admit I was a little unsure as to whether the calmer would work, because well... supplements don't always do what they say on the tin! However, after a particularly disastrous outing, where I managed to get the most faults I ever have in a single class, we decided enough was enough and we had to try something. We bought ProKalm online and it arrived within days (a lifesaver!).

We only use the product on days of competition as it's a little pricey to use daily for us, but the first day we used it we got the most fantastic clear round in a very big class at Southview EC. Not only did Niamh the fusspot mare behave impeccably, but we also got to compete against some big names like Robert Whitaker and Billy Twomey - a big achievement for little us! We have been out numerous times since then and she is now getting better and better with each trip. We were worried about using calmers, because we didn't want Niamh's 'sparkle' to be lost, because that’s what makes her so good and brilliant to ride. But we needn't have worried. ProKalm has answered every wish on our list - it's taken that extra edge off to help her concentrate and less sensitive to ride. It's also helped with her seasons, where she becomes nappy and spooky. It's been a lifesaver!

Our first lesson back with our regular trainer was fantastic. In our instructors words 'For the first time, we've actually spent the hour on the jumping, not just on calming her down!" She also noticed how much her paces had opened up and become less choppy-a great help for distances!
We really cannot thank you enough for creating such a superb supplement, as well as continuing with Niamh we also have a string of very exciting youngsters coming up to begin what I hope will be the beginning of a career for myself and a family business in the (very!) competitive horse world. We have all agreed that each youngster will have ProKalm on their first trip out competing to make it a stress free, enjoyable experience from the start.

I won a tub of Flexability from Eventing Worldwide and I thought I would use it on my young, promising, but rather weak event horse. I was amazed after a week,he started looking much stronger over his back and feeling it too. He can now "sit" on his quarters. He produced a 25 dressage at my event last weekend. He has also managed to gallop and have more energy at the end of the day. I am amazed and thrilled with this product.

Hi, I read about your product on various horse forums and suggested it to my friend for use on her ex-racehorse during the showing season. It worked wonders. Previously the only ‘calmer’ that worked was sedalin! Anyway, last weekend I took my horse to his first competition for 18 months, he’s never been a good traveller and hasn’t travelled for over a year so I bought him some ProKalm. Wow! He loaded and travelled like never before, no rushing to leap off at the other end, no charging around dragging me, to be honest it was like having my dream horse! Once again, thank you for such a fabulous product that has given me the confidence to start competing my horse again!

Warmest regards,

Charlotte.

I have a 6 year old WB gelding who has been getting increasingly anxious and spooky over the past few months. Having been bolted with several times we have lost confidence in each other. A friend recommended that I tried Prokalm on him (and rescue remedy on me!), so he started with it at the beginning of this week. The results have been outstanding. He is much more relaxed, concentrating on me rather than what is going on around us, and I now have the horse I bought last summer back again.

Thank you!

Farouk de Lozelle: Farouk won the 160km FEI 3* class at Cirencester last weekend.  We used Energex at each vet gate, and he never hit the point where he "ran out of petrol".  He also got the "best condition" award.

ProKalm? It's incredible stuff, only started using it 2 weeks ago.

I'm totally scepticle about calmers of any sort but we decided we'd try Hattie on a calmer to see if it meant I could make it through the dressage warm up at events without her exploding. She's not a typically stressy/anxious horse but we felt that her explosions had to be linked to a small amount of anxiety. We spent a long time discussing the best dosages to use with the lady on the phone, and we trialled it first by going for a SJing lesson in an environment that she isnt normally stressy in but can take about 20mins to become truly rideable and likes to spook at the cows and horse walker etc. The difference it made was astounding, she became softer in transitions, softer over her back to jump and didnt look at anything going on around her yet she was more alert than usual with her ears flicking constantly in a happy way. Didnt hold our breaths as we wanted to trial it in more situations before swearing by the stuff!...so took her BSJA jumping - was incredibly busy, freezing cold and very very windy - enough to completely wind her up. Yet she stood like a saint to be tacked up, there was no prancing or spooking, was extremely laid back in the warm up where before she may have jinked and jumped sideways and been on edge. Yet it didnt affect her judgement or jumping it just removed any anxiety she may have had from the situation.

She was also brilliant on it at Tweseldown, perfect in the dressage warm up and quiet as a mouse walking to and from it. We misjudged the dosage slightly and should have given her more closer to my dressage timing to get the full effect but she was very rideable and wasnt looking for excuses to explode like she would have normally.

We're dead impressed, the lady Mum has spoken to on several occasions now has been incredibly helpful and just said as long as you get the dosage right it will work, they havent had a unsuccessful case yet apparently. Works on everything from bad travellers, clipping, competing, hacking out, everything. I really would look into it, we've tried other calmers on previous horses with no difference whatsoever because they were magnesium based and they only work if the horse is deficient in magnesium which is found readily in good grass. ProKalm contains no magnesium or valerian and seems to do the trick! Im calling it Gold Dust at home! Fascinating, and completely legal which for me was incredibly important as I wanted to compete on it.

Ouija Board can rightly be considered as one of the greatest racing mares. In a racing career spanning four seasons, she won 10 of her 21 races, 7 of them Group 1’s, including the Epsom Oaks in 2004 and the Hong Kong Vase in 2005. In 2004, she won the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf and came 2nd to Intercontinental in the same race in 2005. In 2006, she won her second Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf, laying her claim as one of the best racehorse mares in racing history. She won over £3.3 million in prize money. She is also only the second horse ever to win Breeders' Cup races in non-consecutive years. In 2004 she was also named European Horse of the Year. Ouija Board was retired due to a slight injury on the day before her last ever race, the Hong Kong Vase. If she has been 1st or 2nd in this race (Racing Post forecast her as 6/4 favourite) she would have become the top earning British racehorse ever.
Science Supplements have been pleased to supply Ed Dunlop with electrolyte products.

"We have been using science supplements electrolyte paste for the last two seasons on our horses and we have been very happy with it. It is easy to give and well tolerated and helps combat electrolyte losses from training, travelling and racing. It was also used on Ouija Board who achieved great successes on the racecourse."

ProKalm – Does it work? Extremely well. I've used pretty much every calmer on the market over the years and this is the first one that does what it says on the tin. Best used 2 hours before required. Relaxes the horse but does not affect performance in the slightest.

Thumbs up for ProKalm! Did Prelim 12 at local riding school championships at the weekend - 8th out of 16 with 63.5%, which was better than I thought I'd get because I felt it was a bit "sloppy", but we got consistent marks and encouraging comments, especially about her right canter which was lovely because she still has canter issues although is getting better all the time.
I had given her a dose of Prokalm with her breakfast and felt it made a huge difference. She can be calm without it when she's in consistent work, but I'm not riding much at all at the moment (weather and dark nights!) and last time out a couple of weeks ago she had a tantrum in the arena so I thought I'd play safe. Prior to the test, I was still a little undecided about the Prokalm - had used it a couple of times previously but still couldn't make my mind up. But I felt it did make a difference at the weekend - she was extremely chilled but still responsive and although she had a spook when the door to the indoor school was closed behind us she settled immediately and took absolutely no notice of the very loud chatter/laughter coming from the viewing gallery! Normally these two things would be enough to make her edgy and unsettled.

The impact on joints each time the limbs hit the ground results in concussive damage to the cartilage joint surface that's minute but cumulative, requiring constant repair. Such repair requires basic raw materials not only of the highest quality, but also that are most likely to reach the site of damage. FlexAbility fulfils this requirement in the best possible way.

Just wanted to share this wonderful product! ProKalm made by Science Supplements.
It isn't cheap to buy, but my goodness is it effective. One scoop of it had Merlyn turn from being a fire breathing dragon into a quiet lamb to ride within 20 minutes! It also worked well on Kalidah who weaves when in the stables. She is quite a stressy type but this product really did calm her down and she stood quietly without racing round her box.
It is all natural herbs and ameno acids and Jockey Club approved so safe to use for all disciplines. I paid £54 for a tub (1.1kg) but you can buy a pouch (192g) for about £9 to try first.

Just want to let you know, we now have another pony on the Prokalm and I gave my mare a scoop mixed in with her feed before we rode her. I was really truly amazed it had an almost immediate effect on her. She will now get on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays when she gets worked. I am VERY VERY impressed with the product.

Prokalm is working wonders with my horse. He is not box walking anymore and is concentrating more during his schooling sessions.

We have been trying a new calmer Science Supplements ProKalm. It seems to be very good, working very quickly and taking ‘the edge’ off Tambo which really helps when walking him out , especially in this weather!!!

DavidH reported that Prokalm sorted his mare in a loading (rearing) issue. I've tried it for going 'alone' and certainly had good results too. It doesn’t 'dull' them, just seems to make em come to their senses!!!!!

FlexAbility combines tried and tested ingredients to the highest specification from experts in the field of equine sports science, I have used it for competition horses and for elderly animals with arthritis and we have been very pleased with the results.

First experience with ProKalm:  Eventually I tacked up and got on – walked to the warm up arena. He is usually very spooky in there. I walked him round and round – he didn’t want to go up the far end and I didn’t make him. He didn’t spook! Started trot and canter work – he was amazing, I have NEVER ridden anything like it in my life, light and rounded on the bit, slow – but with so much impulsion with a rounded back. Apparently he looked a million dollars! I’m afraid it was too much for me – I was scared out of my life! But still no spooking!
We then went into the indoor school for the test – as I have said before he HATES the judges box and will not go past without a fuss and spook. I walked him over and talked to the judge – he stood like a lamb – I kept walking him back and forth – no spooks. He did 2 tests with no spooks at all – I am amazed and thrilled. We came 2nd and 4th – with 65% and 61% - FANTASTIC. We would have done MUCH better but I am afraid I was not riding well – I was expecting a spin buck or spook at any minute! So next time I will be much calmer and can ride a better and more accurate test without worry!”

Dear Science Supplements, I wish to congratulate you on your ProKalm supplement At last a product that does exactly what it says on the tin! I was recommended by a friend to try ProKalm as I have a 9 year old warmblood mare who has never travelled well to events and therefore left her performance at home. I have tried every product on the market over the years with no success. At last I have found a solution to this with your brilliant product ProKalm. With minimal effort, just so easy to use in her feed with maximum results. My horse now travels calm and relaxed and ready to perform. The results speak for themselves as she was 9th at the riding club championships and qualified for Olympia with our Quadrille team. Using ProKalm does not take away the sparkle only the anxiety.

I have a 15 year old welsh cob mare called Poppy who I use for dressage and show jumping but who has had arthritis in her hocks for around 2 years. We have previously had her on a variety of joint supplements, including Cortaflex, but none have had any noticeable effect. Even on the joint supplements she would come out of the box very stiff every morning and appear lame. It would take at least 30 minutes to warm her up before she appeared and felt sound. I couldn’t jump her until she had been worked for 45min. After intense or fast work or jumping she would also be lame. I have had her on Flexability for 4 months now and have seen very good results from it. I started her on the loading dose and after 10 days she was not as stiff coming out of the stable and was warming up quicker. After a further two weeks on the maintenance dose she was not stiff at all and would warm-up and be ready to go in ~10min. My dressage coach noticed a dramatic difference and we went on to win our first dressage competition. We are normally never placed and get comments like “too stiff and not bending” on our score sheets. I have also seen a remarkable difference in her jumping as she now finds it a lot easier to pick up over fences. Before being on Flexability she was struggling to get over 2’9” and now she clears 3’3” with ease. Since using Flexability she has not been lame after any fast work, and is more agile whilst being ridden. When coming out of the box in the morning there is no stiffness and the time to warm her up when being ridden has reduced greatly. I am delighted with the results of Flexability and will definitely continue using it for my horse.

When you asked for any improvements/advice on new products-one thing that would be fantastic, is a supplement to ease the effects of seasons and hormones in mares. Obviously not to entirely clear them from all hormones, but just to ease off the effects that they give them-a little like how ProKalm has with Niamh and her fizzy brain!
However, I really can't think of any other improvements to be made-we are very grateful to have found ProKalm as we were at our wits end with Niamh. It is allowing us to finally unlock some of her talent!
